After that, the hp 2130 software won't open but printing and scanning (directly from hpscan.exe) is ok. the utilities is running only if certain issue happened w/ the printer (like paper out, ink iow, etc).. If hp printer assistant does not open, and the printer setup & software screen displays, click connect a new printer, and then follow the on-screen instructions. restart the printer and computer to complete the installation..
