Mokee 6 0 1 for Unite 2 AMD MT6582
Mokee 6 0 1 for Unite 2 AMD MT6582
Hello guys, today i am presenting you a very nice Rom for Unite 2! Intro: So first of all, this is a rom from MoKee Open Source. They finally are supporting our loved Unite 2! It is based on AOSP 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Whats MoKee? MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. They update their source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of their own at the same time. A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), they are doing all these in our free time as our passion. How is it? Its a very nice Rom. I used this Rom on my older devices too and i was just impressed. It runs very smooth, its feature packed and it has got nightly updates. Yes, you get an update every morning via OTA. OTA means, when a new update releases, you just have to download the package within the updater with round about 10-30mb and not the whole rom (400mb+). It has many features, tweaks and settings. You can find them in the settings under MoKee settings. But more on that later. It just works fluently and I use it as a daily driver now. Performance The percormance is good. Its just as in MIUI or CM13. All apps are starting up quickly and the overall system performance is quite good. You can easily switch between many apps without reloading them. Gaming performance is also good. You can play most games with no laggs or frameratedrops. (I tested NFS most wanted and other games). Its comparable with MIUI. Battery Life The Battery Life is good. Its quite okay and I easily get through the day. Its completely okay for daily use, you wont be disappointed. I always had mobile data and Wi-Fi turned on. The screen brightness is auto on my device. Camera I used the Cyanogenmod Snap camera and Im quite impressed. In my opinion its better than MIUIs camera. The shooting speed is good, the quality is nice and all features of the Unite 2, as 4k video, etc, are supported. It makes very sharp pictures and the focus and snap time is very quick. You tap on the Camera Button and the photo is taken! The Camera App has many features and looks good. Quickcharge Quickcharge 2.0 is also supported by this rom. There are three charging modes: When I connect it to my PC it says ´Slowly charging`, when I connect it to a normal adaptor it says ´charging` and when I connect it to my QC Charger it says ´fast charging`. In my opinion the charging speed is way faster than in MIUI! Cheers :D Display You can change the DPI density in the settings. As lower the DPI density, as more is fitting onto the screen. The normal DPI density is at 480 I think. I like it on 400. The auto brightness is working very good too. I think sunlight display is implemented, but i cant see an option in settings, also in MIUI i cant see an option. Features It has quite good and useful features. Here are some of them: Theme Engine Privacy and Permmission Settings In MoKee you have control of every permission an app asks for (Its like in MIUIs Security-App). Everytime an app asks for using a permission, you get informed and you can restrict or allow this permission. Yiu can also see the used permissions in settings. Aegis Button Customisation AudioFX Customize the Staus Bar MoKee Center You (usually) get an Nightly Update every day. You can update via OTA and just download a little Rom package and update. The update process is very easy and noob friendly ;) You get an OTA every day. It has bug fixes, improvements and new features! In This Center you can also acces the bug tracker, Forum Link and more. Android And of course it supports all common Marshmallow features from stock Android too. Cheers! How to install? Note: Im not responsible for any damages or data loss on your phone! Do it on your own risk! Installation Instruction 1.Goto Recovery (CTR v3 Recommended) 2.click on Mounts/Storage , Then click on Format /system 3.Then Yes, then Format /cache n Format /data 4.go back on home , click on Install Zip,Then choose u r Sdcard (Sdcard0 is u r sdcard) 5.goto Mokee6.0.1 zip n click on it , then yes It will start installing rom CWM/PhilZ Touch Recovery Users. First Choose Wipe Cache. Then Navigate to advance and choose Devlik Wipe Cache so you wont get in any bootloop. Then Finally Choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset. It was a project that was first based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean. In the early days -- it was just a one man show on one device, the EVO 3D. Since then, many others have joined the project and it has grown exponentially. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours. Big or small, the focus was always on contributing to the community. That is ultimately why we do what we do. After Jelly Bean, we decided to move to a new base, OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting base because it challenged us to see what we could do with a project that had different goals in mind. We learned a lot and gained contributors in the process. With Lollipop, we moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. We grew further with experience and learned a lot more along the way. It has been an awesome learning experience and its still not over! We are still learning, striving to grow each day, and continuing to move forward. Lastly, weDO NOT accept, nor ask, for donations. We do not believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going comes out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc. We will never ask for a dime. All that we do ask is that you have patience, search for answers prior to posting, read, and try to enjoy the process with us!! Change Log: Version 10.6 Whats Working :-
